Integration for Peace and Hope Restoration Uganda (IPHR-Uganda) is a registered national humanitarian organization founded by a group of young, visionary elites committed to fostering sustainable development through active community engagement. Established as a not-for-profit, nonpolitical, and non-religious entity, the organization aims to address the critical challenges facing vulnerable communities in Uganda.
Formally registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Uganda Registration Services Bureau in November 2019 (Registration No. 80020002229747), IPHR-Uganda seeks to empower communities by ensuring access to essential human needs such as education, healthcare, food security, and economic opportunities. The organization’s work aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on resilience-building for vulnerable populations.
IPHR-Uganda operates with a firm belief in the power of diversity, inclusivity, and participatory approaches to create meaningful change. By fostering democratic values and integrating participatory learning methodologies, the organization ensures that all community members - irrespective of gender or ability—are included in development processes. The organization mainstreams gender equality and disability inclusion across all its programs and activities.
To advocate for a just cause by delivering tailored solutions that address critical needs, alleviate poverty, and reduce suffering at the community level. IPHR-Uganda works to ensure that women and girls experience greater gender equality, live lives free from violence (LFV), and realize their Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR). Our efforts focus on strengthening multi-sectoral capacity to prevent and respond to gender-based violence and harmful practices, such as child marriage. We prioritize GBV prevention, risk mitigation, and response through service provision, advocacy, and coordination, while ensuring inclusive support for women, girls, and persons with disabilities.
A self-reliant, poverty-free, and socially just society with the capacity to address its own daily needs.
To empower communities by fostering resilience, reducing poverty, and promoting social justice through sustainable and inclusive development initiatives tailored to address their most pressing
needs.
